Canada to allow medical euthanasia of people with mental health struggles
Canada will allow healthy individuals struggling with depression to be medically euthanized starting March 2023.
Canada will become one of the few jurisdictions in the world to allow ‘medical aid in dying’, or euthanasia, for individuals with a diagnosis of mental health disorder.
Starting March 2023, otherwise, healthy individuals diagnosed with depression, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, schizophrenia, PTSD, or any other mental illness will be offered euthanasia by the state healthcare.
Experts have warned against this as many young individuals struggle with depression and other mental health issues, which is often temporary.
In Canada, all hospitals are operated by the federal government. With an increasingly failing health systems and costs that are out of control, some healthcare professionals are seeing more and more instances of euthanasia being pushed suggested and pushed on patients.
A Canadian man has told the New York Post that the Canadian government and healthcare system have been urging him to accept euthanasia.
“I’ve been pressured to do an assisted suicide,” he told The Post.
“They asked if I want an assisted death. I don’t. [...] Nurses here told me that I should end my life. That shocked me.”
In August 2022, Tim Stainton, director of the Canadian Institute for Inclusion and Citizenship at the University of British Columbia told the Associated Press that Canada’s uniquely permissive euthanasia laws were, “probably the biggest existential threat to disabled people since the Nazis’ program in Germany in the 1930s.”
Despite the concerns of experts, the Trudeau government has not signaled any willingness to modify its euthanasia policy.
The article has one major error. Healthcare is a provincial jurisdiction and consequently hospitals are operated by the provinces, not the Federal Government. This doesn't necessarily mean the Federal Government is hands off as over the years it has increasingly moved in on provincial jurisdiction in many areas, using Federal taxpayer money to buy their way into control. Also, some provinces, like BC, have progressive governments that are aligned with Trudeau's globalist and anti-life, anti-Canadian agenda. These provincial governments are essentially proxies of Trudeau's government so yeah, they want Canadians dead so they can replace them with more compliant foreigners.
Clearly, the Trudeau dynasty's replacement agenda is incredibly & disgustingly obvious by now, after a few decades.
