Dr. Fauci's net worth increased from $7.6 million to over $12.6 million during the pandemic

Financial disclosure forms obtained by a watchdog group found that Fauci’s net worth almost double during the years of the pandemic.

The group, Open The Books, says they received Dr. Anthony Fauci’s FY2021 financial disclosures from the National Institutes of Health which found that Fauci’s net worth during the pandemic almost doubled by $5 million from 2019 through 2021. 

In the forms, Dr. Fauci received a number of prizes during 2021 including one for $901,400 which Fauci disclosed stating: “ I received the Dan David Prize for public health from the Tel Aviv University on May 9, 2021”.

Allegedly, the prize was for “speaking truth to power” and “defending science” during the Trump administration.

The other two prizes were vastly less being under $12,500.

According to Open The Books, since 2016, Fauci’s net worth has increased from $5.6 million to over $12.6 million in 2022.

Additionally, Open The Books says that “Fauci continued to be the most highly compensated federal employee earning $456,000 in 2021 and $480,000 in 2022. Fauci out-earned the president, four-star generals, and roughly 4.3 million other federal bureaucrats.”
