Tulsi Gabbard says she is leaving the Democratic Party, calling it “an elitist cabal of warmongers driven by cowardly wokeness”
In a video posted to Twitter on Tuesday, October 11, Tulsi Gabbard announced that she is leaving the Democratic Party.
In the video posted, the former Democratic U.S. Representative, says she “can no longer remain in today’s Democratic Party”.
Adding that it “is now under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers driven by cowardly wokeness, who divide us by racializing every issue & stoke anti-white racism,”
In a thread, she continued that the Democratic Party is hostile to people of faith & spirituality, demonize the police & protect criminals at the expense of law-abiding Americans, believe in open borders, weaponize the national security state to go after political opponents,”.
She stated that the Democratic Party is “dragging us ever closer to nuclear war.”
She also called on other like-minded Democrats to join her in leaving the party.
“I’m calling on my fellow common sense independent-minded Democrats to join me in leaving the Democratic Party.”
Adding, “If you can no longer stomach the direction that so-called woke Democratic Party ideologues are taking our country, I invite you to join me.”
It's about time. While better late than never is a thing, too late is the same as never. It only took the looting of the Treasury, a years long invasion across the border, and looming threat of nuclear war to get her to finally admit to herself what President Trump has been saying for years. The Democrats are working to destroy America and the RINOs are happy to be paid off to stand aside.
